Mr. Rosenberg has earned Martindale-Hubbell’s AV peer review rating, indicating the highest levels of professional excellence and ethical standards.  He has handled jury trials, bench trials, state and federal appeals, arbitrations, and mediations.  Mr. Rosenberg’s successful arguments in California State and federal Appellate Courts have resulted in four published opinions, and set legal precedents in the areas of asbestos litigation, abuse of discretion by a trial judge, preservation of a minor’s claim against a teacher for sexual abuse, and in obtaining a reversal of a wrongful criminal conviction.

In 1981, Mr. Rosenberg was one of the trial attorneys responsible for obtaining one of the first jury verdicts in Los Angeles County against the asbestos manufacturers Johns-Mansville and Owens Corning Fiberglass Corporation.  The case, Arceneaux v. Johns-Mansville Corp., was brought on behalf of a Long Beach naval shipyard worker who contracted an asbestos-related disease.  The jury verdict led to settlements in the millions of dollars for hundreds of asbestos victims. Early in his career, Mr. Rosenberg was a partner in the prominent plaintiffs’ firms of Greene, O’Reilly, Broillet, Paul, Simon, McMillan, Wheeler & Rosenberg (now Greene, Broillet & Wheeler) in the 1980s, and Jacobs, Jacobs & Rosenberg from 1994 to 2005.  During this time, he concentrated his practice on representing injured individuals and families who had lost loved ones in wrongful death actions.
